Spine Care

Are you experiencing back or neck pain?  Well, if yes, you are not alone.  Some studies suggest that up to 80% of the population will experience at least one episode of lower back pain at some time during their life.

These episodes can range in severity from mild to severe.  They can disrupt your quality of life and often result in the inability to attend work or recreational activities.

Any multitude of predisposing factors or activities may contribute to your lower back pain (LBP) or neck pain.  It is our job at Accelerated Rehab and Sports Medicine to help you to identify the culprits of your pain and instruct you in how to manage your condition.

At Accelerated Rehab and Sports Medicine, our therapists are well trained in the management of neck and back pain.  We understand the anatomy and physiology of the spine and, therefore, are considered experts in the conservative management of neck and back pain.  We know that your pain can be debilitating and even depressing at time.  It is our job to help you to better understand your condition and teach you how to manage/resolve your pain.  As with all our treatments, we will follow an evidence based approach to your care.  This means that it is our responsibility to remain current with the latest science and research on the management of neck and back pain.  We in turn use this knowledge to offer you the most up to date treatment options.

Upon initial visit with one of our therapists, you can expect a very thorough evaluation.  We will look closely at past medical history, social history, functional limitations, imaging reports, vital signs, posture, range of motion, strength, neurologic system, vascular system, and specialized orthopedic tests.  Our approach to acute and chronic pain is multifactorial.

Treatment options available at ARSM may include any of the following options:
