Mark Siegel

Born and raised in Monroe, Mark is not a “native” to south Louisiana.  He attended LSU in Baton Rouge from 1991-1994 and then graduated in 1996 Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Physical Therapy from  LSUMC- School of Allied Health Professions in Shreveport.  Mark was awarded his Orthopedic Clinical Specialty (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association in 2005.  He has over 23 years of clinical experience in evaluation and treatment of orthopedic conditions.  Although he has worked in almost all physical therapy settings, his focus has always been in the out-patient realm.  Mark’s post-graduate continuing education has focused on the latest developments and research of orthopedic rehab and sports medicine.  His certifications include, but are not limited to:  Dry Needling, Spinal Manipulation, and Graston Technique.

Mark married his wife, Cherry, in 1998.  He is the proud father of his three beautiful children (Abigail, Sydney, and Mason) who happen to be triplets.  The Siegels moved from Shreveport to Thibodaux in 2007 and chose to remain here to live, work, and raise their children. Mark is an avid LSU sports fan.  He loves to follow the Tigers in football, baseball, basketball, softball, and gymnastics.  When not working or tending to his family, Mark can likely be found in his boat, as fishing is his true passion.

Cherry Siegel

Born and raised in Shreveport, La, Cherry is also a “transplant” from north Louisiana. She attended LA Tech in Ruston and graduated Summa Cum Laude from LSUS in Shreveport in 1998. Cherry then graduated in 2001 Summa Cum Laude with an MS in Physical Therapy from LSUMC- School of Allied Health Professions in Shreveport. She has over 18 years of clinical experience in evaluation and treatment of multiple patient conditions. Although she has worked in almost all physical therapy settings, her current focus is in the home health setting.

Cherry is married to Mark Siegel and they have 16-year-old triplets (Abigail, Sydney, and Mason) who keep her heart and schedule abundantly full. Cherry loves to watch sporting events with her family and friends, read, exercise, and travel.

Lisa Rome

Office Manager

Our Story:

Mark and Cherry opened the doors of ARSM in October of 2012 to the wonderful community of Vacherie, LA.  Mark was quite familiar with the communities of Vacherie, Chackbay, Choupic, Choctaw, and Bayou Beouf as he had provided home health PT to these areas for over 5 years.  The business was opened with hopes that it would provide at least a part-time job opportunity.  Within six months, the business grew to a full-time operation with Mark supervising the office in Vacherie and Cherry providing home health to the surrounding communities.

In July, 2015, the office moved into a new, 2200 square foot facility on LA Highway 20.  The new office doubled the available treatment space and allowed ARSM to provide patient care in a more comfortable setting.  Mark, Cherry, and staff have met so many wonderful people over the years that have touched their lives beyond belief.  Mark and Cherry feel a connection to this community that they would have never imagined.  They thank all of their former patients for choosing them to provide their care, and they look forward serving the area for many years to come.
